Executive Health and Leadership Coaching Program

The future success of any business sits squarely on the backs of the next generation of leaders. Consequently, developing, retaining, engaging and supporting this group of pivotal business leaders are non-negotiable agenda items.
But our future generation of business leaders are under the greatest stress we’ve ever seen. The global nature of business, technology-enabled 24 hour work days, information overload, and demands to be more productive with less resources, money or time are becoming too much to handle. When they’re not working, executives are managing family commitments and responsibilities, leaving little time for their own rejuvenation. These future leaders are over stressed and over worked, leading to under performance and under engagement.
A person who understands how to keep their body and mind in top working condition is a tangible benefit to any organization.
Executive Health and Leadership Coaching restores balance, increases energy and refocuses our leaders on the long term view of their best performance, professionally and personally, through a baseline of good physical and mental health. From the science behind how food and physical activity impact your brain AND body, to mindfulness and stress reduction techniques, Executive Health and Leadership Coaching educates, develops discipline, and supports participant development through practical application.
Healthy food, physical activity, reduced stress and quality time sound like luxuries in an executive’s life. In fact, they are necessities to reach one’s highest performance levels, engage fully in their work, and enjoy their overall quality of life. Executive Health and Leadership Coaching restores these necessities where they are needed most – to the people who have been identified to lead our companies into the future.
The Executive Health and Leadership Coaching Program is a multi-month program offering a diverse coaching experience, including individual coaching, group coaching, extensive information dissemination, and specialty training. It is recommended for professionals who have been identified as High Potential, High Performers, and/or being groomed for future leadership positions.
The Executive Health and Leadership Coaching Program is not a wellness program. While positive health outcomes are certainly one benefit, this program is a leadership development tool. Food, physical activity, rejuvenation and mental outlook, when used correctly, enhance overall productivity in addition to leadership skills such as creativity, strategic thinking, confidence, positive attitude and intuition.
The Executive Health and Leadership Coaching Program can be used as a standalone development tool or easily integrated into a broader professional development program. In fact, this program is the perfect complement to other executive and leadership development programs, as the content focuses on building strong physical and mental resiliency – necessary foundations for other varied personal and professional development focuses.
The Executive Health and Leadership Coaching Program runs over multiple months (a minimum of five months for the best coaching experience, but timing can be flexed (longer or shorter) based on company requirements), and consists of approximately three to four one hour calls per month (depending upon participant availability for individual, group and information calls and interest in specialty coaching calls). These calls vary in audience, topic and purpose and all occur during regular working hours.
Program Pre-Work: Prior to the first Individual Coaching call, participants will be asked to complete a Wellbeing Benchmark. This benchmark will ask participants for health and lifestyle data (i.e. gender, company role, age, height, weight, family makeup, time spent on vacation each year, sleep statistics, stress meter, life-balance score, etc.). This information will be used during the first Individual Coaching call to set personal program goals, and throughout the program to ensure coaching recommendations are appropriate to participant situation. All information and Individual Coaching calls are confidential between the participant and coach.
Individual Coaching: All participants will be invited to a series of individual coaching calls over the program period, of which the first call is mandatory to participate in the program. These calls are private sessions between the coach and the participant. This coaching time is to focus on personal goals, areas of need, or other confidential items.
Informational Calls: Twice a month, for one hour, participants will be invited to participate in information calls. These calls are coach instructed and will dive deep into program modules (i.e. food, physical activity, rejuvenation, and mental outlook). These calls will teach participants the science behind linking good health with great leadership through data, exercises and supporting materials. Informational calls will be recorded and distributed to participants so access is available if unable to make it to scheduled calls. Regularly attending (or listening to the recording of) informational calls is pivotal to success in the Executive Health and Leadership Coaching program.
Group Calls: Participants will be placed in groups of six to eight based on gender and geography, and scheduled to meet for one hour every month. (Overall participation statistics may impact size, gender or geography make up of groups). Group calls are coach facilitated calls intended to encourage knowledge sharing, accountability for goal setting and achievement, support from ‘people like me’, and group idea generation.
Optional Specialty Coaching: Many participants will have specific areas they’d like to focus on (i.e. event training, trying a food cleanse, developing a personal exercise program, trying a new food philosophy) and would benefit from personal coaching specific to these goals. Optional Specialty Coaching is available with a specialty coach facilitated program.
In addition to the coaching support described above, participants will receive ongoing support through coach email access and reference materials.
